Up until recently a wedding planner was thought of as a luxury. Now however with the busy schedules of todays modern couples and the growing trend of people coming from overseas to get married, a professional wedding planner is an essential element of a sucessful wedding. With our local knowledge and experience in contracting the services of photographers, florists and caterers for example we can save you time and money in negotiating the best possible outcome to suit your style and budget.

What can we expect in getting married through Wedding Kingdom?

Using our local knowledge and event planning skills we aim to alleviate the stress of your day, and together create your dream wedding. You can be assured everything is taken care for on your wedding day as we will be present on site before you arrive at the ceremony until you are happily seated at your reception to see that everything runs as smooth as possible. We will also be on call all day for any last minute needs.

What are the legal requirements for getting Married in Australia?

Generally you need to be over the age of 18 years to get married in Australia. You must lodge an Notice of Intended Marriage no later than a full calender month and not earlier than 18 months prior to your wedding date. You will need to provide an original birth certificate as proof of age. If you were born outside of Australia a passport is acceptable. Our marriage celebrant will handle all the necessary paperwork and lodge the application for you.

There is no wedding package that suits our needs.

That's ok our wedding packages are only a guideline to get you started. We will happily put your own unique package together based on your individual needs and desires. Just email us a list of things to include and we will get back to you with a quote.

We have chosen a beach wedding but what happens if it rains?

Depending on the area and extent of the weather on your wedding day there is normally some kind of nearby shelter which may include a gazebo, pavillion or one of our portable white wedding marquees which are available for your use on the day. We will also provide white umbrellas for you and your guests. In some cases you may transfer to your reception venue earlier and hold your wedding ceremony there also if they have such facilities. You are normally pretty safe with our beautiful weather on the coast, we seldom need to make alternative arrangements and if it does happen to rain for you on your wedding day just remember that it is a sign of GOODLUCK...so welcome the rain with smiles!!!
